The Google Expeditions application (Android and iOS) is a great application for immersive experiences that help transport users into specific areas.  One of the nice features about this application is that you can explore on your own or you can take a group of people and be lead by a guide, such as a classroom instructor.

Some of my favorite experiences in this application were:

• Da Vinci’s Inventions
• Fly with NASA’s Juno Mission to Jupiter
• Mount Everest
• Aztec and Mayan Ruins
• International Space Station

This is a good application to explore if you are new to AR or VR, or even if you have lots of experience in these areas.
