Me

I am a licensed architect in five states: California, Washington, Nevada, Oregon, and Tennessee. I am also a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB).

I am currently a project architect at JB Steel Inc. in Medford, Oregon, where I work full-time. I am also the principal and lead designer, as well as the chief technology evangelist, at Willard Williams Architect, LLC, located in Phoenix, Oregon.

I have been passionate about architecture since I was a child. I am fascinated by space, light, and textures, and I am always looking for new ways to create innovative and inspiring designs. Some of the architects who have influenced my design language include Daniel Libeskind, Thom Mayne, Michael Folonis, Gary McGavin, Evan Troxel, Dimitrius Lynch, Chiedu Chijindu, and Ray Kappe.

In addition to architecture, I am also a passionate motorsports enthusiast. I have worked at Porsche Racing garage for a number of years, where I learned a lot about material science, engineering, fabrication, logistics, leadership, and building high-performing machines that are reliable. I have also raced high-performance sailboats in the San Francisco Bay, which has given me a unique perspective on design and problem-solving.

I am excited to share my passion for architecture and motorsports with you through my blog. I believe that architecture can be a powerful force for good in the world, and I am committed to creating designs that are both beautiful and functional. I am also passionate about using technology to improve the way we design and build.

I am particularly interested in parametric design technology and digital fabrication. These technologies allow me to create designs that are more complex and expressive than ever before. They also allow me to collaborate more effectively with engineers and builders, and to ensure that my designs are feasible to construct.

I believe that parametric design technology and digital fabrication are the future of architecture. I am excited to be at the forefront of this movement, and I am confident that it will help me to create truly innovative and inspiring buildings.
